6th LCA Catering & Tourism Trip
On Tuesday morning 4th February 2025, Ms. Loughnane and her 6th LCA Hotel, Catering and Tourism group went for breakfast in the Ugly Duckling cafe and a short walking tourist trail of the town of Roscrea as part of a key assignment.
Naz, the owner of the Ugly Duckling showed the students around the cafe, spoke to the students about catering operations and answered questions etc. This was a very enjoyable and valuable trip for the students based on the practical nature of Hotel, Catering and Tourism

Student Council Presentation
On Tuesday night two of our Student Council members made a presentation to the Board of Management outlining the role and purpose of the Student Council in our school.
Their mission is to create, in cooperation with the Principal, Staff and students an enhanced school life for all the school community of Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré.
Well done to our Student Council representatives Ally Gleeson and Bailey Loughnane who made the presentation on behalf of the Student Council!
