U15 Hurling
Our U-15 hurlers were in the Munster hurling semi final Wednesday against a very strong Ennistymon CBS school, the boys started off very well and saw themselves down by 4 points at half time and managed to bring it back to 2 points with approximately 10 mins left. The boys showed great work rate, determination and skill throughout the game. Unfortunately, they came out second best on the day. This team is a credit to the school and did extremely well as they also got to the semi final of the Munster football championship. The boys are also looking forward to the Gerard O’Brien memorial tournament next week. Well done boys I’m sure you will bring back silverware to the school some day.
Senior Footballers
Hard luck to our Senior Footballers who lost out in the County football final to Carrick CBS on a scoreline of 1:13-0:9. Despite the loss our team gave a great account of themselves and battled to the very end.
