Our Transition Year students have been taking part in the Mini Med programme run by the RCSI this week. It is proving to be a very worthwhile programme for all giving students the opportunity to learn more about various medical careers and their day to day work.

Take a Book/Leave a Book initiative
We are delighted to announce that we have restored our Take a Book/Leave a Book initiative in the school. This initiative has been brought about to ensure that every student in our school has access to free reading books. The concept is simple, we have an open shelf of books in our social area that students are encouraged to borrow from – they can either return their chosen book when read or replace it with a different book that they no longer wish to keep. By doing this we hope to keep a plentiful supply of books in constant circulation in our school.
If you or someone you know would like to donate books to our TakeABook/LeaveABook shelf you can drop the books to our school reception for the attention of Ms. O’Donoghue. We accept books in reasonable condition, from a wide variety of genres which may be of interest to students from 1st Year to 6th year.
