Dear Parent / Guardian,
I am writing to you in relation to the announcement that the Minister has cancelled the upcoming Junior Certificate formal exams in June. This does not mean that students should disengage or discontinue studying. The formal exams are to be replaced with a school-based certificate. The logistics around this are yet to be confirmed and distributed by the Department of Education. Once we know these I will keep you informed.
As a result, it is very important that you continue to support us by ensuring your son / daughter continues to engage with their online classes and complete all assignments / work set for them. Their teachers will continue to support them though their various courses / subjects.
