School Concert in Aid of Uganda

We were very lucky to be able to go ahead with our annual school concert on Wednesday 11th March last in St. Cronan’s Catholic church before lockdown. We sincerely thank the Parish for allowing us to use the church and the setting was beautiful for the event.  The acoustics were fantastic and we thank all who attended the concert. All students who performed did the school and themselves proud. We are delighted to say that €1,000 was raised for the Uganda Mission fund and we thank everyone for their generosity. We thank Colm Wright for providing sound and lighting which added so much to the evening. Well done to all who performed and helped out with the Concert, especially Ms Gothard, Ms Larkin and Mr Maher.

Welcome Back

We welcome back all students and all have now completed their first full week of classes. We thank the 6th Year Cairde group for all their help with the incoming First Year students helping them settle into the school. All First Years are doing great and adjusting to life in Coláiste very well. Keep up the good work!

Best Wishes

We send our best wishes to Mr. Shane Fitzgerald who has taken up the role of Deputy Principal in Loughlinstown in Dublin and he has now been appointed acting Principal. Shane taught with us from 2014 to June of this year and he did great work in his post as a Junior Year head and History teacher. All in Coláiste wish him well.
