Schools Talent Search Competition
Tipperary ETB celebrated its first Schools Talent Search competition last Wednesday 21st January in Coláiste Dún Iascaigh, Cahir. This competition has been going on for some weeks now seeking out talent in various categories throughout the student body in Tipperary. After preliminary rounds, two of Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré’s students got to the finals. Namely Orlaith Cleary who became a Junior Finalist Musician with the Tin Whistle and Eoin Hobbs who was our Senior Finalist Musician on the Piano. Orlaith Cleary finished as Runner up in the Junior Section and to the delight of Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré Eoin Hobbs won the Senior Category.

Drugs Talk in Coláiste Phobal
The Mid-West Regional Drugs & Alcohol Forum and the HSE Mid-West present the “Let’s Learn about Drugs & Alcohol Together”
Programme at Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré on Wednesday 28th Jan 2015. The programme consists of two workshops delivered after school by MWRDAF and HSE staff. Workshops are interactive in design and engage parents and pupils in a shared learning environment. The workshops are specifically developed for pupils and parents of 2nd year only. The Second Workshop is Wednesday 28th Jan 2015 @ 7.00 – 9.00pm [parent & pupil].
