School tours
We had a busy week this week with both our First and Second Year students heading off on their school tours. Our First Year students went to Lough Boora while our Second Year students went to Emerald Park. Both groups had fantastic experiences and thanks to the teachers and SNAs involved for facilitating the trips.
Senior Camogie
Well done to our Senior Camogie team who yesterday won the Tipperary senior b blitz competition. Venue was Borrisoleigh GAA. Other teams who participated were: Templemore, Borrisoleigh, Borrisokane and Carrick on Suir. Coláiste Phobal Roscrea beat Borrisokane in the final having won all our games to get to the final. Great camogie played and very spirited performances from our girls. Well done to all!
Fun day 2024
A fantastic day was had on Friday 17th of May when we held our annual whole school fun day. There was a suite of activities arranged for the students ranging from the rodeo bull to escape rooms, basketball, skills challenges, obstacle courses, hang tough, bubble soccer…the list goes on! There was an ice cream van arranged to cool us all off before the highly anticipated annual staff vs students soccer match. This year the students came out victorious with a 3-0 victory over the staff. A great day was had by all and we’d like to thank Mr. Delaney and his team for coordinating.
TY Graduation
Congratulations to our TY class of 2024 who had their graduation ceremony last night. After a fun filled year of outings, work experience, sports, enterprise, podcasting, coding, a musical… ( and much much more!!!!) we hope that they look back on their TY experience fondly and bring their new found skills and interests with them to Fifth Year after the summer break. Well done to their coordinator Ms. Mulrooney for organising such a wonderful and fun-filled year for them.
