RNLI TALK
Mr. Colm Plunkett from the RNLI delivered a very informative talk on Water Safety to our Transition and Leaving Certificate Applied students on Monday 4th September. A small gift was presented to Colm as a token of our appreciation for all the work he has done with our students over the years.

Offaly Camogie
A number of Coláiste Phobal students were involved with Offaly u15s & u14s Leinster & All Ireland development squad wins during the summer.
Kate O’Toole – Offaly u15s,
Roisin Maher & Roisin Phelan – Offaly u14 Div 1 National Shield final winners in Ennis. They also won the u14 All Ireland National shield final in Dublin in August.
Fia Dooley & Aoife Meagher – Offaly u14s Div 7 Leinster Cup winner’s, and also National Shield winners in August.
Community Games
Four of our 1st year students competed in the All Ireland Community Games U13 Mixed Relay on the 26th August 2023 in Carlow and secured a Bronze Medal. Congratulations to all.

Irish U16 call up for Brody Lee
Brody was selected for training camp with the Irish u16s in Athlone. Brody has made great progress on the football field and we look forward to following his progress throughout the year.
Gold Medal Success
We would like to congratulate Marie Shanahan in 3rd year. She won Gold at the All Ireland Athletics finals in June representing the school. This is a huge achievement, and we are immensely proud of Marie.
6th Year Students delighted to receive their results
We were delighted that some of our students came in on results day to collect their results. It was lovely to be able to take the time to have a cup of tea and a chat about their future plans and ambitions. We would like to once more wish the Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied Students the very best as they take the next step in their lives.
