On Sunday, Jan 17th, the ladies from Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré took on Kilfinane in the Sr. Patricia Cup final in Moneygall. Conditions were tough on the day and the weather was poor. A close encounter was expected as both teams had met earlier in the competition.
The ladies from Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré fought with sheer heart and determination. They had immense passion and pride in their school jersey.
Victory went to Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré on the day after a fierce battle. Joint captains, Karen Hogan and Shannon Moloney accepted the Sr. Patricia Cup with roars of cheers and applause.
Sincere thanks to Moneygall GAA for the use of their facilities on the day. It was very much appreciated. Thanks also to Donal Leahy, the referee and the management/players from Kilfinane.
Mention must go to the management/players from Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré on a magnificent victory.
